Who it fits
Good fit for
This handheld suits you if you want a dedicated 1:1 display for classic systems. The 720x720 square IPS panel maps pixel-to-pixel to 480p and 480i titles. It also fits users who stream PC games over 5G Wi-Fi using Moonlight or want an Android 13 device for media apps. The HDMI port lets you connect to a television, while the 5200mAh battery supports travel sessions up to seven hours.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you expect a ready-to-play system right out of the box. The package does not include a game card, and there are no preloaded games, so you must install all software yourself. Skip this model if you prefer a 16:9 widescreen layout for modern games, since the 720x720 screen is strictly square. Buyers needing newer peripheral connectivity may also find Bluetooth 4.2 limiting.
Verdict: The Voacle RG Cube pairs a 720x720 IPS panel with the Unisoc T820 processor and Android 13 for distinct square-format emulation and game streaming. It delivers capable hardware specs, provided you are prepared to supply your own game files.
Key Specifications Explained for Buyers
5200mAh battery with up to 7 hours run time
This 5200mAh capacity provides you with up to seven hours of continuous playtime and recharges through a USB Type-C port. You benefit if you travel often or play during long commutes without access to an outlet. When shopping for handheld gaming PCs, compare this against larger x86 devices that typically deplete their packs within two to three hours.
Android 13 operating system
Android 13 gives you a dedicated mobile environment to install apps, emulators, and streaming tools. You benefit if you want an accessible touch interface without managing desktop operating system overhead. When you compare this to full handheld gaming PCs, note that Windows devices run desktop games directly, while Android relies on mobile ports, emulation, and streaming platforms.
2.4/5G Wi-Fi with Moonlight streaming support
Dual-band 2.4/5G Wi-Fi connects to modern wireless routers and supports Moonlight streaming so you can cast titles from your desktop. This setup benefits you if you already own a primary gaming rig and want low-latency playback in different rooms. Compare this streaming workflow to handheld gaming PCs, which run demanding PC games natively on their internal hardware.
HDMI output for TV connection
HDMI output lets you connect the handheld directly to a television and display your games on a larger screen. You benefit from this feature if you prefer switching between portable handheld sessions and stationary living-room setups. When evaluating handheld gaming PCs, compare this direct output to units that require separate multi-port docking stations to deliver a video signal.
Design and Build Specifications
According to the listing, the Voacle RG Cube measures 22.3 cm by 9 cm by 1.5 cm and weighs 14.1 ounces. The specifications also list dimensions of 2 inches in length, 1 inch in width, and 3 inches in height. For exterior finish, you can choose between Black and White color options. A weight of 14.1 ounces provides noticeable physical presence in your hands. This form factor suits two-handed handheld play during commutes or at home, while the 1.5 cm thickness lets you slip the device into a backpack.
On the front, the console features an OCA full-fit 3.95-inch touchscreen. This laminated construction places the display glass tight against the IPS panel. For tactile response during play, the chassis incorporates an internal vibrating motor according to the listing. These physical elements give you direct touchscreen input alongside built-in haptic feedback.
The device layout provides physical connectivity through a USB Type-C port and an HDMI output. You can use Bluetooth 4.2 to connect an external gamepad or a wireless headset. The dedicated HDMI port lets you route video output directly to a TV display. This hardware arrangement allows you to use the console as a standalone portable or docked for stationary play on a larger screen.
Setup and Everyday Use Details
Setting up the Voacle RG Cube requires loading your own titles from scratch. The package does not include a game card, and the system comes with no preloaded games. Because the handheld runs on Android 13, setup operates like an Android mobile device. You connect to your home network using the built-in 2.4G and 5G 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi adapter to download software directly.
For day-to-day controls and audio, the console features Bluetooth 4.2. This wireless connection allows you to pair external gamepads and headsets. When you want a larger picture, you can connect the unit to a TV using the HDMI output to transfer your games to the screen. During play, an internal vibrating motor provides tactile feedback.
Everyday use extends beyond standalone play. The Wi-Fi configuration supports Moonlight streaming, which lets you stream and play PC games smoothly. The wireless link also supports two hosts playing online together at the same time. When running retro software, the screen supports original 480p or 480i machine output to produce pixel-to-pixel effects. The Android platform also enables general entertainment, allowing you to listen to music, watch TV, shop online, and socialize.
Before Buying the Voacle RG Cube
Before choosing this handheld, verify your existing setup. You will need a compatible USB Type-C charging cable and your own digital game library, as the device does not ship with storage cards or preloaded software. If you plan to connect external gamepads or headphones, ensure they support Bluetooth 4.2.
For display output, you will need a compatible HDMI cable to link the unit to a television. If you intend to stream PC titles via Moonlight, verify that your home network supports 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi and that your host computer meets streaming requirements.
Within the category of 1 handheld gaming options for 2026, this unit functions as an Android mobile platform rather than an x86 PC. It relies on Android applications and remote streaming rather than running native desktop operating systems. Upkeep involves managing internal files and regular cleaning.
Check before you buy

- Ensure your home network supports 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi for Moonlight streaming.
