- Open-ear stereo speakers paired with dual noise-reducing microphones and Bluetooth 5.3.

Who it fits
Good fit for
These glasses suit commuters, cyclists, and vloggers who need hands-free point-of-view video capture without mounting an action camera. The 110-degree field of view and open-ear speakers let you record surroundings while keeping full ambient awareness. Travelers who need real-time spoken translation and offline voice commands will benefit from the multi-language tools. The three swappable lenses also suit users moving between indoor desk work and outdoor settings.
Who should skip it
Skip this pair if you need continuous long-form recording. Video clips cap at 10 minutes each, and total recording battery life tops out around 90 minutes. Users who need optical zoom, optical image stabilization, or direct display projections inside the glass should look elsewhere, as this device uses a standard lens frame with audio and camera output only. It also requires smartphone pairing for cloud AI features and file transfers.
Verdict: The Giwbeiv smart glasses provide a capable 4K POV camera and open-ear audio package for short-form recording and casual daily translation. They deliver balanced utility if you work within the 10-minute clip ceiling and 90-minute recording battery window.
Key Hardware Specifications Explained
290mAh battery with 1–3 days mixed daily use
This battery capacity yields up to 90 minutes of active video recording or several days of intermittent standby. You benefit if you record brief clips during daily outings rather than continuous footage. When shopping for handheld gaming PCs and compatible wearable gear, compare this run time against standard Bluetooth audio accessories that run for eight continuous hours or more.
Bluetooth 5.3
Bluetooth 5.3 maintains an audio and voice connection with your smartphone. You benefit from low-latency audio transmission and steady connectivity while moving outside. When shopping for handheld gaming PCs, compare this revision with devices using Bluetooth 5.0 or 5.2. Modern handheld consoles rely on updated Bluetooth protocols to minimize audio delay and maintain reliable wireless headphone links during gaming sessions.
2.4GHz WiFi 6
This standard handles fast media export from your glasses to a phone. You benefit if you routinely clear on-board storage without plugging in physical cables. When shopping for handheld gaming PCs, compare this single-band 2.4GHz standard to the dual-band Wi-Fi 6 or 6E modules inside portable consoles, which offer broader bandwidth and access to faster 5GHz local networks.
3 interchangeable lenses
The set includes one indoor blue-light lens and two tinted outdoor UV lenses. You benefit if you switch between indoor screen viewing and bright daylight environments. When shopping for handheld gaming PCs, compare these protective clear lenses to anti-glare screen coatings or gaming glasses designed to reduce eye strain during extended portable gaming sessions in front of bright handheld displays.
Frame Design and Hardware Layout
The Giwbeiv AI Smart Glasses arrive in a black unisex finish with standard Normal sizing, according to the listing. The structural design centers on an interchangeable optical configuration featuring three distinct lenses. You receive one clear blue-light lens intended for indoor screen use and office environments, alongside two tinted UV-protective lenses built for outdoor sunlight exposure. This modular lens layout lets you swap optical elements depending on lighting conditions, which makes the frame suitable for transitions between indoor desktop tasks and outdoor travel.
Hardware integration places an 8MP wide-angle camera with a 110-degree field of view on the front, paired with dual microphones featuring noise reduction to assist with voice clarity during calls. The audio layout incorporates open-ear stereo speakers that direct sound toward your ears without obstructing the ear canals, helping you maintain ambient awareness in outdoor settings. For physical operation, the glasses feature one-touch control on the frame alongside offline voice control, enabling you to capture photos, record videos, or adjust music without reaching for your phone. Wired charging runs through an onboard USB-C connection, which completes a recharge in about 1 to 1.5 hours, according to the listing.
Setup and Everyday Operation
Setting up the Giwbeiv smart glasses requires pairing the hardware to your smartphone through Bluetooth 5.3. This connection handles wireless audio streaming, hands-free voice calls, and basic device commands. To transfer captured media, you link the glasses to your phone over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6. Charging the 290mAh battery takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours using an integrated USB-C connection.
In daily use, you control the camera and audio through one-touch buttons or voice prompts. You can take photos or record 4K video clips up to 10 minutes each, totaling up to approximately 90 minutes of recording time per charge. Offline voice commands manage music playback and capture media without opening the companion app. Open-ear stereo speakers deliver audio while leaving your ears unblocked to maintain environmental awareness. Dual noise-reduction microphones filter external sound during phone conversations.
Everyday productivity relies on integrated software features. The cloud-based AI system provides object and scene recognition, multi-turn conversations, and voice-to-text transcription without an ongoing subscription. You also get five translation modes: conversation, simultaneous interpretation, photo translation, voice or video call translation, and phone-paired translation. Built-in smart reminders help keep your daily schedule organized.
Before Buying Giwbeiv AI Smart Glasses
You need a compatible smartphone to pair with these smart glasses. Bluetooth 5.3 handles wireless audio and phone calls. A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 connection is required to transfer your 4K video clips and photos to mobile storage. You also need a standard USB-C power source to charge the 290mAh battery, which takes 1 to 1.5 hours.
Upkeep involves managing the three interchangeable lenses. You switch manually between the clear blue-light filter and the two UV-protective tinted pairs depending on your environment. Routine maintenance includes keeping the 8MP camera lens clear of dust and smudges.
On Handheld Gaming Picks, this wearable device serves a different purpose than the 1 dedicated handheld consoles. It does not play games directly. Instead, it works as an accessory for recording hands-free POV gaming footage or listening to open-ear game audio while you play on portable systems.
