6 Best Alternatives to the GiipGoop RG35XXSP Handheld Game Console (2026)

If you are shopping for giipgoop rg35xxsp handheld game console alternatives, you have several distinct hardware configurations to consider. The original GiipGoop RG35XXSP excels at clamshell pocket play, using strong magnets for a secure closure and an integrated Hall switch chip that turns the screen on when opened and off when closed. Its 3.5-inch length and 8.96-ounce build make it highly portable, but its 1.06-inch thickness and dedicated retro layout may not meet every need.
You might prefer an alternative if you want an Android operating system, touchscreen controls, a dual-screen format, or Hall effect analog sticks. Different brands and form factors also provide larger displays or alternative swivel mechanisms for your gaming setup. The 6 devices on this list were chosen because their specifications, wireless connectivity, and compact dimensions directly overlap with the original console.
Our top pick: GiipGoop RG35XXSP Clamshell Wireless Handheld.
How Alternative Handhelds Compare
Voacle RG VITA Android Handheld
The Voacle RG VITA features an Android operating system with a touchscreen display, unlike the retro-focused clamshell interface of the GiipGoop RG35XXSP. At 5.36 inches in display class and 1 inch thick, it operates as a mobile platform device. The RG35XXSP measures 3.5 by 3.34 by 1.06 inches and relies on a physical magnetic closure with a Hall switch sensor to manage the display state automatically. You lose the built-in screen protection and folding shell of the RG35XXSP. Choose the Voacle RG VITA if you want an Android system with touchscreen capability rather than a folding clamshell case.
Gamkowy RG Rotate 3.5-inch Swivel
The Gamkowy RG Rotate utilizes an Android platform with a swivel structure, measuring 2 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 3 inches high. This offers mobile operating system capabilities in an Aurora Silver finish. By comparison, the GiipGoop RG35XXSP is a clamshell unit measuring 3.5 by 3.34 by 1.06 inches and weighing 8.96 ounces, designed with internal magnets and a Hall switch to shut off the screen upon closing. You miss out on the protective magnetic fold and the preloaded 64G TF card of the RG35XXSP. Pick the Gamkowy RG Rotate if you want Android software and a rotating 3.5-inch screen.
Aivuidbs RG DS 4-Inch Dual Screen
The Aivuidbs RG DS delivers dual screens and runs on Android, whereas the GiipGoop RG35XXSP features a single screen. At 6.2 inches long and 3.5 inches wide, the Aivuidbs console provides a much larger overall footprint than the 3.5 by 3.34-inch RG35XXSP, though it is slightly thinner at 0.8 inches versus 1.06 inches. You give up the integrated magnetic closure and the compact Hall-switched body that make the RG35XXSP simple to slip into pockets. Pick the Aivuidbs RG DS if you require two dedicated screens and Android support rather than a single-screen pocket clamshell.
Voacle RG405V Android Handheld
The Voacle RG405V provides an Android touchscreen setup in a vertical body, weighing 10.6 ounces. That makes it heavier than the 8.96-ounce GiipGoop RG35XXSP. Its direct vertical orientation lets you access the touchscreen controls immediately without opening a case. However, the RG35XXSP protects its display automatically when closed using built-in lid magnets and a Hall switch chip, while measuring a more pocket-friendly 3.5 by 3.34 by 1.06 inches. You give up that fold-flat screen shielding with the RG405V. Choose the Voacle RG405V if you want a vertical Android handheld with touchscreen controls and do not require clamshell folding.
GiipGoop RG353V 3.5-Inch Dual OS Handheld
The GiipGoop RG353V features a 3.5-inch IPS display and runs on an Android operating system. It uses a vertical layout measuring 4.96 inches long, 3.27 inches wide, and 0.83 inches thick. In comparison, the GiipGoop RG35XXSP uses a thicker 1.06-inch clamshell frame that stays shorter at 3.5 inches long when closed. With the RG353V, you gain an IPS screen format and Android support, but you lose the magnetic lid closure and the Hall chip sleep-wake automation of the RG35XXSP. Pick the RG353V if you prefer a slim vertical chassis with an IPS panel and Android OS.
Cintwor RG VITA 5.46" Android Handheld
The Cintwor RG VITA provides a 5.46-inch touchscreen display, 64GB of memory, and 64GB RAM on an Android platform. Its horizontal casing spans 8.11 inches long and 3.31 inches wide, while measuring a thin 0.73 inches thick. By contrast, the GiipGoop RG35XXSP uses a square-proportioned clamshell casing at 3.5 inches long, 3.34 inches wide, and 1.06 inches thick, complete with a 64G TF card. The Cintwor model sacrifices the magnetic lid closure and Hall sensor screen shutoff found on the RG35XXSP. Choose the Cintwor RG VITA if you want a wide horizontal console with touchscreen Android gaming.
