XREAL AR Glasses Specs Guide
XREAL’s lineup splits into distinct groups based on connectivity and display size. The Beam Pro 6G+128G AR Companion anchors the top spot with robust hardware for spatial computing. It suits users who prioritize app access and multi-screen multitasking over pure portability.
For those seeking lightweight AR, the XREAL One Pro AR Glasses 120Hz offers a 120Hz refresh rate in a compact frame. The XREAL xbx a01+ AR Glasses with Beam Pro provides a standalone Android experience with 5G support. Other bundles pair the One Pro or 1S glasses with Wi-Fi or 5G hubs, letting you choose between local streaming or cellular independence based on your travel habits.
Who XREAL AR Glasses Suit
XREAL covers a wide range of user profiles through its current lineup. You can choose from compact glasses to standalone computing hubs. The range includes specific sizes for standard and wider interpupillary distances. Most models feature high-refresh-rate Micro-OLED displays for smooth visuals. You have options for 5G cellular connectivity or local Wi-Fi streaming. Some bundles include Android companions for standalone app use. Others require tethering to handheld consoles. The selection focuses on portable spatial computing rather than full immersive headsets. You should match your IPD and connectivity needs to the specific model.

How to Choose XREAL AR Glasses
-
Check Your IPD Fit
Interpupillary distance determines how well the lenses align with your eyes. XREAL offers specific sizes for different ranges. The XREAL One Pro M fits users with an IPD between 57 and 66mm. This size appears in several bundles, including the premium 5G option and the standard WiFi models. If you have a wider IPD, look for the L size variants. The XREAL One Pro L bundle accommodates wider distances. Choosing the correct size ensures comfort and clear focus without eye strain during long sessions.
-
Select the Right Refresh Rate
Refresh rate affects how smooth motion appears on screen. Most XREAL models feature a 120Hz display, which provides fluid visuals for gaming and media. The XREAL One Pro AR Glasses highlight this 120Hz capability in their name. Higher refresh rates reduce motion blur, which is critical for fast-paced games. Check the attributes section to confirm the rate. A 120Hz panel offers a noticeable improvement over standard 60Hz displays, making interactions feel more responsive and natural.
-
Choose Storage Capacity Wisely
Storage determines how many apps and games you can keep locally. The XREAL Beam Pro companion offers 128GB or 256GB options depending on the bundle. The Beam Pro 5G bundle includes 256GB of storage for standalone use. More storage allows you to install multiple Android apps without relying on cloud streaming. If you plan to use the glasses with a handheld console, local storage on the companion device helps manage your library efficiently.
-
Decide on Connectivity Type
Connectivity options define how you stream content. Some bundles use WiFi for local network streaming, while others include 5G for cellular data. The XREAL Beam Pro WiFi models connect to home networks for low-latency spatial viewing. The 5G bundles offer standalone cellular connectivity for gaming away from local networks. Choose WiFi if you primarily play at home. Select 5G if you need mobile data for on-the-go gaming or media streaming without tethering to a router.
-
Consider Display Size Options
Display size impacts immersion and portability. Some bundles advertise a 171-inch virtual screen size for a theater-like experience. The XREAL One Pro L Eye Bundle and M Eye Bundle both feature this large virtual display. This size is ideal for immersive media consumption. However, larger virtual screens may require specific accessories for full spatial tracking. Check if the bundle includes the necessary eye tracking components if you plan to use mixed reality tools.
-
Verify Operating System Support
The operating system determines app availability and functionality. Most XREAL bundles run on Android 14, providing access to the Google Play Store. The Beam Pro companion devices use this OS for standalone app execution. Ensure the bundle includes Android support if you want to stream apps directly. This allows you to run mobile games and media apps on the virtual display without needing a PC or console connected.
