Specifications side by side

How to Choose the Right One

1. Check the processor core

The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 powers the F1 Pro and G1 models. This chip delivers strong AI performance and consistent gaming speeds. If you prioritize raw processing power and local AI tasks, these models are your best choice. The ONEXPLAYER 3 uses a different architecture that balances versatility with performance. You should match the processor to your primary workload. Heavy emulation or productivity tasks benefit from the HX 370. Casual titles run well on all listed units.

2. Compare storage capacity

Storage space determines how many games you can keep installed. The F1 Pro models offer 2TB of storage. This is ideal for users with large game libraries. The ONEXPLAYER 3 and G1 provide 1TB. This is sufficient for most players but requires more management. You should check if you need extra space for video editing or large files. Higher capacity reduces the need for external drives. It also ensures smoother performance by keeping more data on the fast internal drive.

3. Evaluate screen refresh rate

A 144Hz refresh rate makes motion smoother and more responsive. The F1 Pro and G1 both feature this high refresh rate. This is crucial for fast-paced shooters or racing games. The ONEXPLAYER 3 focuses on visual fidelity with its AMOLED panel. It does not list a 144Hz rate in the primary attributes. You should choose 144Hz for competitive gaming. Choose AMOLED for richer colors and deeper blacks. Your preference depends on whether you value speed or color accuracy.

4. Decide on form factor

The ONEXPLAYER 3 is a 3-in-1 device. It supports multiple modes for different usage scenarios. This makes it versatile for travel or desk use. The F1 Pro and G1 are traditional handhelds. They are optimized for one-handed grip and portability. You should choose the 3-in-1 if you want tablet-like flexibility. Choose the traditional form factor for dedicated handheld gaming. The G1 also adds eGPU expansion for desktop performance. This expands your options beyond portable play.

5. Confirm operating system

All listed models run Windows 11. This ensures full compatibility with PC games and applications. You can install Steam, Epic, and other storefronts directly. This openness is a key advantage over console-based handhelds. You should verify that your specific games run on Windows 11. Most modern PC titles are compatible. This OS choice also allows for desktop productivity tasks. You can use the device as a laptop replacement. This versatility adds value beyond just gaming sessions.
