8-Inch and 7.4-Inch Spec Comparison
Screen Size
The Lenovo Legion Go S provides an 8-inch display panel. In comparison, the Olivechard screen replacement measures 7.4 inches diagonally. The larger 8-inch screen size on the Lenovo unit gives you more viewable display area for on-screen text, game interfaces, and complex menus during handheld PC gaming. Meanwhile, the Olivechard component is sized at 7.4 inches to match specific handheld shells, making it slightly more compact. When you want maximum visual real estate in your hands, the 8-inch measurement on the Lenovo Legion Go S delivers the larger viewing surface between these two options.
Display Type
The Olivechard unit features a glossy OLED display assembly integrated with a touch screen digitizer. OLED hardware provides deep black levels, strong contrast, and rich colors directly on the panel. Its glossy surface finish is engineered to preserve sharpness and vivid color reproduction during handheld sessions without matte diffusion. In comparison, the Lenovo Legion Go S lists an 8-inch WUXGA screen, but the published specifications do not confirm an OLED panel type. If you prioritize the deep black levels and distinct contrast ratios of an OLED panel, the Olivechard display provides that dedicated display technology for your handheld setup.
RAM Capacity
Memory capacity impacts how smoothly your operating system and game assets load. The Olivechard listing attributes specify 64GB of RAM. The Lenovo Legion Go S provides 32GB of system RAM. While 32GB on the Lenovo handheld is plenty of memory for modern PC titles and background tasks, the 64GB figure associated with the Olivechard configuration lists double that overall capacity. More RAM gives you additional room for demanding system workloads, multitasking utilities, and memory-heavy software. Based strictly on the manufacturer specifications provided for both options, Olivechard claims the higher memory capacity attribute with 64GB against Lenovo's 32GB.
Storage Capacity
The Lenovo Legion Go S includes a 1TB SSD for local storage. That gives you 1TB of solid-state space to install large PC games, store patches, and save files directly on the handheld. The Olivechard listing attributes indicate a 512GB storage capacity, while also noting support for 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB device tiers. Modern PC game installations can easily exceed dozens of gigabytes each, making drive capacity a key factor for local game libraries. With 1TB of SSD space, the Lenovo Legion Go S offers twice the storage capacity listed for the Olivechard option.
Refresh Rate and Resolution
The Lenovo Legion Go S specifies a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 120Hz refresh rate allows the screen to update up to 120 frames per second, creating smooth motion in fast-paced gaming sessions. The 1920 x 1200 resolution also provides sharp pixel clarity across the 8-inch panel. In contrast, the Olivechard product data does not state a refresh rate or an exact pixel resolution for its 7.4-inch display assembly. Because the Lenovo Legion Go S publishes concrete 1920 x 1200 resolution figures alongside a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, it holds the edge in display performance specs.
Processor and Graphics
Computing hardware determines how your handheld handles modern PC titles. The Lenovo Legion Go S is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor running from 3.30 GHz up to 5.10 GHz, paired with AMD Radeon 780M graphics. This processing hardware executes demanding PC gaming workloads and runs the installed SteamOS platform directly. Conversely, the Olivechard product data does not list an integrated processor or graphics hardware, as it focuses strictly on being a display panel assembly. For documented computing power, the Lenovo Legion Go S holds the clear advantage with its dedicated Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and Radeon graphics.
